#31. Jennifer Beals

Jennifer Beals grew up wanting to be an actress, and honed her skills by appearing in a number of school plays all throughout high school. Jennifer has appeared in more than 50 films over the course of her career, but she’ll always be best known for playing the role of Alexandra Owens in the 1983 film Flashdance. The role earned her both a NAACP Image Award and a Golden Globe nomination, and it led to a number of offers to appear in other films and TV shows. Her other notable works include The L Word, The Chicago Code, and Proof. In her spare time, Jennifer is a photographer, a triathlete, and a vocal advocate for gay rights. She’s married to Canadian entrepreneur Ken Dixon, and the two have a daughter together.

#32. Katey Sagal

Katey Sagal became a household name in the late 1980s when she snagged the role of Peg Bundy on the Fox TV series Married with Children. She stayed on the show for its entire 10 year run, and was nominated for three Golden Globes and two American Comedy Awards during that time. She went on to appear in a number of other TV shows and films throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, including That 70s Show and Lost. In 2008, she began starring as the character Gemma Teller Morrow on Sons of Anarchy, a show created by her husband Kurt Sutter. Katey went on to win a Golden Globe for the role, and today she lives with her husband and their daughter in Los Angeles.

#33. Valerie Bertinelli

Born in Delaware, Valerie Bertinelli has been a recognizable face on television since the mid 1970s. She got her first big role on the sitcom One Day at a Time when she was only 15, and remained on the show for the next nine years. She appeared in a number of different shows and made for TV movies during the late 1980s and 1990s, and got another big break in 2001 when she was cast in the drama series Touched by an Angel. Most recently, she appeared as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland, Valerie has also struggled with her weight throughout the years, and has been a spokesperson for Jenny Craig since 2007. In 2012, she received the 2,476th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

#34. Jane Seymour

One of the most recognizable actresses of any decade, Jane Seymour has a host of credits to her name. Born in England, she achieved international fame when she was snagged the role of Bond girl Solitaire in the 1973 movie Live and Let Die. She went on to appear in a number of other films and television shows, including Battlestar Galactica and The Scarlet Pimpernel. She was also the beloved Dr. Quinn in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman between 1993 to 2001, and the show was so popular that it’s still shown on TV to this day! Jane also has a successful career as an author of self-help books, and she’s even designed a collection of jewelry for Kay Jewelers. More recently, she has appeared in multiple TV series and films like 50 Shades of Black, Men at Work, and Jane the Virgin.

#35. Keshia Knight Pulliam

Keshia Knight Pulliam is an American actress born in Newark, New Jersey in 1979. She is best known for her role as Rudy Huxtable, the sassy youngest child of the Huxtable family on the 80s sitcom The Cosby Show. While only 5 when The Cosby Show found its way onto screens nationwide, Pulliam was no amateur. She had already been in print advertisements, the film The Last Dragon and Sesame Street. Pulliam slowed down her acting career after The Cosby Show came to a close, but she has appeared on a number of celebrity game shows such as Fear Factor, The Weakest Link, and Celebrity Mole 2: Yucatan. While little “Rudy” has continued a casual career in acting, she has since been married and had her first child with husband Ed Hartwell.
