#36. Justine Bateman

Born in New York to a former Pan Am flight attendant and an acting coach, Justine Bateman grew up in the perfect environment to become a successful actress. At the age of 16, she was cast as Mallory Keaton on the sitcom Family Ties, and she went on to play the role for 7 years! This is undoubtedly the role she’s most famous for today, but she’s also appeared on shows like Men Behaving Badly and Arrested Development. Justine has had an interesting career outside of acting as well. She ran a clothing design company during the early 2000s and began a digital production company later in the decade. She ran the company for quite a few years, and in 2012, Justine made the bold decision to go back to school and started studying computer science at UCLA!

#37. Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley is best known for her role as Rebecca Howes in the television show Cheers, a role that won her both an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Despite her popularity on the show, she was the only regular actor from Cheers not to make a guest appearance on Frasier. Her other notable works include the 1998 thriller Shoot to Kill and the Look Who’s Talking film series released in 1989, 1990, and 1993. These days, Kirstie is still acting in both films and television shows, and her interesting personal life has also resulted in a number of reality shows revolving around her life. She’s an active Scientologist who donated more than $5 million to the Church of Scientology in 2005, and she’s also endorsed Donald Trump for president in the upcoming election!

#38. Shelley Long

Born in 1949, Shelley Long is an American actress best known for her role as Diane Chambers on the sitcom Cheers between 1982 and 1987. The show made her a five-time Emmy nominee and a one-time Emmy winner, and she also received two Golden Globes for the role. She’s starred in a number of notable films over the past four decades, including Night Shift, The Brady Bunch Movie, and Troop Beverly Hills. Shelley brought her comedic genius back to TV between 2009 and 2012; you’ll probably recognize her as the hilarious DeDe Pritchett from Modern Family! In 2016, she decided to try her hand at producing, and is currently in the middle of working on a film called Different Flowers. Fans don’t need to worry about not seeing her onscreen anymore; she’ll be acting in the film as well!

#39. Lisa Whelchel

Born in Texas in 1963, Lisa Whelchel is an actress, singer, and author, among other things. She began appearing as a Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Club when she was only 12 years old, but audiences from the 1980s are more likely to recognize her from her role as the preppy Blair Warner on The Facts of Life. Lisa played the role for the entire nine years that the show ran, but she began to wind down her acting career after the show ended in 1988. She had her first child in 1990, and went on to have two more. Lisa has also been a born-again Christian since the age of 10, and she’s been a regular speaker at Women of Faith Christian conferences since 2009.

#40. Erin Moran

Born and raised in California, Erin Moran didn’t grow up far from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Her first ever acting job was in a commercial, but she was cast as Jenny Jones in the television series Daktari when she was only six years old! Following that, she made her feature film debut at the tender young age of eight when she appeared in How Sweet It Is! alongside Debbie Reynolds. Erin appeared in a number of other movies and TV shows throughout her childhood, but her real fame came in 1974 when she was cast as Joanie Cunningham on the sitcom Happy Days. She played the role for 10 years, and even reprised the role in the spin-off series Joanie Loves Chachi. In 2012, she quit acting to move to Indiana.
