#26. Candice Bergen

Born and raised in Beverly Hills, Candice Bergen was surrounded by Hollywood glitter and glamour from the day she was born. She began her career as a fashion model, and had already appeared on the cover of Vogue by the time she decided to transition into acting at the age of 20. She starred in a number of films throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including The Sand Pebbles and Starting Over, but her real claim to fame comes from the fact that she spent ten years playing the title character on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown. Over the years, the role won her five Emmys and two Golden Globes! Today, Candice is 70 years old and still going strong. Keep an eye out for her appearance in the upcoming film Rules Don’t Apply!

#27. Beverly D'Angelo

Born in Ohio, Beverly D’Angelo is a multi-talented actress and singer who has appeared in more than 60 films over the course of her three decade-long acting career. She dabbled in a number of other artistic fields before getting into acting, working as a cartoonist for several years before moving to Canada to pursue a career as a rock singer! This led her to appear in a number of rock musical version of Shakespeare’s plays, and her acting was good enough to get her some offers to appear in film and on TV. Her first minor role was in the 1977 film Annie Hall, and she went on to appear in a string of other movies including Every Which Way But Loose, Hair, and Coal Miner’s Daughter. She’s still acting today, in both television and film!

#28. Demi Moore

Demi Moore grew up in a troubled home, and she dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to become a pin-up model. She caught the public’s eye in 1981 when she appeared in a nude pictorial in Oui magazine, and she made her acting debut later that year in a relatively unknown movie called Choices. However, she quickly gained recognition for her appearances in Blame It on Rio (1984) and St. Elmo’s Fire (1985). Demi received a Golden Globe nomination for her 1991 role in the film Ghost, and in 1996 she was paid $12.5 million to appear in Striptease, making her the highest paid actress in film history up to that point! She’s been a reliable presence on the silver screen ever since, and she has no plans of quitting anytime soon. She’ll be appearing in the upcoming comedy Rock That Body!

#29. Danica McKellar

Danica McKellar and her sister Crystal both began acting at a young age; Danica started taking weekend acting classes when she was only 7 years old! She mostly appeared in commercials as a child, but in her teens she landed a starring role in The Wonder Years. This is the role she’s still best known for today, but over the years she’s made quite a few more appearances in TV shows like The Big Bang Theory and The West Wing. She’s also written, directed, and produced a short film called Speechless…, proving herself to be a talented filmmaker! When not working in the film industry, she’s authored four books encouraging girls to get involved in mathematics - she has a Bachelor of Science from UCLA in the subject.

#30. Tempestt Bledsoe

Born in Chicago in 1973, Tempestt Bledsoe is known to most of the world as Vanessa Huxtable from The Cosby Show. She was a regular on the show for eight years between 1984 and 1992, and she briefly reprised the role in the spin-off series A Different World. After her Cosby days were over, she went on to host a daytime talk show called The Tempestt Bledsoe Show, which ran from 1995 to 1996. She appeared in a number of television shows throughout the 1990s and the early 2000s, and she also earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from New York University during this time. Tempestt was one of the stars of the NBC TV sitcom Guys with Kids between 2012 and 2013, and today she lives with her long-term boyfriend Darryl Bell in Las Angeles.
