Known for roles in The Big Bird Cage and Foxy Brown, Pam Grier was definitely a recognizable face in the 70’s. She went on to star in the popular television show The L Word for six seasons between 2004 and 2009. However, her best-known role was in the 1997 film Jackie Brown, which was directed by Quentin Tarantino. Pam was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the film, and Quentin Tarantino has actually remarked that she may have been cinema’s first female action star because of the role! These days, Pam is still acting, including some voice-over work for video games like Grand Theft Auto V. She’s also started a Community Garden and Education Center in Texas that was named after her, although she spends most of her time in Colorado.
Diane Keaton first rose to fame as Kay Adams-Corleone in The Godfather, and she went on to become one of the most recognizable faces of the 1970s. She appeared in a number of comedic Woody Allen films all throughout the 1970s, including Play It Again, Sam, Sleeper, and Love and Death. Diane’s fourth film with Allen was Annie Hall, which was written especially for her. Her role as Annie won her an Academy Award! She continued acting all throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, and went on to receive Academy Award nominations for Reds, Marvin’s Room, and Something’s Gotta Give . Outside of acting, Diane also enjoys photography, singing, and writing. Most recently, she voiced the character of Jenny in the 2016 film Finding Dory.

In 1972, she landed a role in the critically acclaimed film The Emigrants, for which she won a Golden Globe. She’s also been nominated for Two Tony Awards for her work in the theater. Liv is a talented director as well, and she’s directed a number of theater productions as well as films like Faithless and Miss Julie.

Audiences will also recognize her as Adrian Balboa from the Rocky series, another role that earned her an Academy Award nomination as well as an Oscar nomination.
