Catherine Bach was infamous for rocking super short shorts and made the Daisy Duke look one of the most iconic looks of the 1980’s. Of course, she rocked that look during The Dukes of Hazzard. Her original outfit was supposed to be a white turtleneck, poodle skirt, and go-go boots, but Bach decided on something a little better.
She just wants to have fun! Cyndi Lauper is one of the most iconic singers of the 1980’s, who was well known for her eccentric but super chic style and her amazing repertoire of music. She released her first solo album, She’s So Unusual, in 1983, which included hits like Girls Just Want to Have Fun and She Bop.
Lauper would go on to win a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1985, then would later win a Tony award for writing the Broadway musical Kinky Boots! She’s also done a lot of humanitarian work, and is an active advocate for gay and transgender rights.
