Kelly LeBrock was one of the biggest sex symbols in the 1980’s, appearing on everybody’s screen in the John Hughes’ films Weird Science and The Woman in Red. She grew to be so popular she was even once married to Steven Seagal!
Unfortunately for LeBrock, her career never really took off after that and she quit acting by the 1990’s. Since then, she’s been working on promoting affordable healthcare.
Spader’s career took off with the film Tuff Turf in 1985. He went on to star in the movie Pretty in Pink alongside Molly Ringwald. He build his career in the 80’s with movies such as Mannequin, Less than Zero, and the much loved Sex, Lies, and Videotape.
In 2004, Spader returned to the screen in the Boston Legal television series. Later, he joined The Office and in 2013, he was cast in Blacklist and has earned much praise for his role as Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington. At 56, James Spader is still a part of the Blacklist cast. Earlier in 2015, he had returned to the silver screen in the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.
McGillis began her career by starring alongside Harrison Ford in Witness when she was only 28. Her performance earned her several award nominations, and she later was given the role Charlie in the much acclaimed Top Gun starring alongside Tom cruise as well as Val Kilmer.
After Top Gun, McGillis starred in 1988’s The Accused. After that she appeared in several TV shows and movies that didn’t draw much attention, before taking a break from acting altogether. She now teaches acting and work with recovering drug and alcohol addicts.
Pheobe Cates won the hearts of the entire population with her girl-next-door charm back in the 1980’s. You may remember her for such films as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins! Before this, Cates was working as a model, and later was married to Kevin Kline!
Allan Ruck landed his first role alongside Sean Penn in the drama Bad Boys. The movie that catapulted him to success was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Ruck also featured in The Fugitives and Shooter in the same decade.
He is set to make a come back in the film War Machine alongside Anthony Michael Hall and Brad Pitt later in the year. This shows the 60 year old is not about to quit any time soon.
