After his discharge from Fort Ord on the Monterey Peninsula, Eastwood found his way down to Los Angeles where he landed few small screen roles with Universal. Later in 1958, Eastwood scored his big break with a major part in TV Western Rawhide. In 1992 he starred in one of his own directorial works, Unforgiven for which he won the Academy Award for best picture and director.
In 2005 Duvall was awarded a National Medal of Arts by President George W. Bush. As of his recent endeavors in his acting career he has co-starred in Jack Reacher (2012) and A Night in Old Mexico (2013). He starred opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the 2014 movie The Judge which earned him a golden globe nomination.
In 2004, Eastwood delivered another outstanding performance as an aging boxing trainer in the movie Million Dollar Baby which won several Academy awards including his second Best Picture and Best Director award. In 2014 he directed two films the Broadway adaptation of Jersey Boys and box office hit American Sniper. In 2016 he got behind the lens for another acclaimed biopic, Sully based on the heroic actions of pilot Chesley Sullenberger.
Anyone who remembers the 1980’s will recall Justine Bateman with no problem. She played Mallory Keaton on Family Ties. Playing the superficial teen was her breakout role and cemented her for every in 80’s pop culture. When the 80’s came to an end she kept her name in the light with a lot of film and guest roles in television.
As of today Justine is staying out of the limelight, though she isn’t exactly retired and done for. She just graduated from UCLA after four years of hitting the books. During those four years she kept a blog on tumblr that followed her life in school. Now she hopes to hit Hollywood again but more a more technical angle.
