Melissa Sue Anderson stole all our hearts when she played the role of Mary Ingalls in the Little House on the Prairie. We basically saw this kid blossom into a women throughout the shows nine season. Anderson didn’t start there though, she started with bit guest roles in shows like the Brady Bunch and Bewitched.
After Little House on the Prairie ended, she never again found that kind of stability. She bounced around getting guest role after guest role. She managed to get parts in a few films, but was never able to outlive her role in Little House on the Prairie. In 2007 she became a Canadian citizen with her husband and they’ve been living there since. As of 2010 she has released an autobiography titled The Way I See It - A Look Back at My Life on Little House. Besides that her acting career has been flat.
Before being known as an Oscar winning actor, Dicaprio started his acting career by landing minor roles TV shows like The New Lassie, Roseanne, Parenthood, etc. DiCaprio struggled so much in his early years trying to land a major role that his agent had suggested Lenny Williams to improve his appeal. However, his breakthrough role was in This Boy’s Life opposite Robert DeNiro which proved he was more than a pretty face. He eventually earned an Oscar nomination for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). Later he starred in the much acclaimed James Cameron film Titanic which rose him to stardom.
He has since worked with acclaimed director Martin Scorsese for several projects, including The Aviator (2004) and The Departed (2006). His more recent films include Inception (2010), Django Unchained (2012), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and The Revenant (2015), winning his first Oscar for the latter. He is also an active advocate for climate change starring in the 2016 documentary, Before the Foods.
Jessica Biel first stole our hearts back in the late 1990’s when she showed up on our screens as Mary Camden from 7th Heaven. She was the rebellious daughter who would often find herself in trouble. When the curtains closed on 7th Heaven her career continued while her costars kind of faded from the spotlight.
