Cox’s big break came from being cast by Brian De Palma in the Bruce Springsteen video “Dancing in the Dark.” She eventually ended up playing the role of Michael J. Fox’s girlfriend on the hit series Family Ties. However is better known for her role as Monica Geller in the acclaimed 90’s sitcom Friends which gave her big recognition worldwide. She also starred in movies such as Scream, Scream2, Commandments, etc.
In 2009 Cox starred as a divorced 40-year-old in a comedy show called Cougar Town which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Cox has a daughter named Coco with ex-husband David Arquette. Cox is currently engaged to Snow Patrol band member Johnny McDaid.
Before getting the breakthrough role of his career, LeBlanc’s big claim to fame was starring in a spin-off of Married. .With Children called Top of the Heap (1991), which was on the air for only seven episodes. However after being cast as struggling but funny actor Joey Tribbiani in NBC’s Friends did he rise to a more permanent spotlight. LeBlanc even stirred up a bit of a pop culture trend with Joey’s favorite pickup line and much-repeated TV catchphrase “How you doin’?”
Although Ford was considered an Icon in the 70’s and 80’s his later roles in movies such as Hollywood Homicide and Firewall received mixed reviews much of which went unnoticed except for the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull which was a box office hit. In 2015, Ford a longtime Pilot made headlines when he crash landed his vintage aircraft on a golf course in Venice, California.
Besides being on Friends, LeBlanc appeared in movies like Ed (1996), Lost in Space (1998), and Charlie’s Angels (2000). But he got a bigger bragging right when the producers made a spinoff of friends based on his character called Joey which lasted for two whole seasons. He took a big gap in between this and 2012 when he reappeared on TV show Episodes, the BBC Two/Showtime series as himself and earned a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
