Richard Brooks appeared as D.A. Paul Robinette on the first 3 seasons of “Law&Order.” However, he made appearances on the show in 2005 and 2006. Richard continued to act and opened his own production company called Flat Top Productions. From 2013-2015 he had a reoccurring role on “Being Mary Jane.” In 2016, he had roles in the TV show “The Good Wife,” and TV movie “The Rich&the Ruthless.”
Detective Joe Fontana replaced Lennie Briscoe as Senior Detective in 2004. Played by Dennis Farina, Detective Joe Fontana was willing to bend the rules in order to catch the criminal. He left the show in 2006. Farina co-starred in the 2012 HBO horse-race gambling series “Luck,” with Dustin Hoffman. He also had a recurring role in 2013 in the television comedy series “New Girl.” Unfortunately, Farina died in 2013 from a pulmonary embolism.
Andrea Navedo appeared as Detective Ana Cordova for 24 episodes on “Law&Order,” from 2001-2004. However, Navedo also played Cynthia Mancheno on 3 episodes of “Law&Order: Special Victims Unit,” in 2013. In 2014, she landed the role of Xiomara Villanueva in the series “Jane the Virgin.” In 2015, she had a role in the movie “Superfast!”. She is currently credited with having a role, alongside Will Smith, in the film “Bright,” which is currently filming.
Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola has been on the cast for quite some time, since season 2. Fin has a background in a narcotics unit and always makes sure to do right by the victim. Ice-T, however, also keeps busy off set of “Law&Order.” He has been in a numerous other TV shows and movies. In 2016, he appeared on the series “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” It has also been reported he will release new music collaborations, in 2017.
Since first appearing in 1993, Belzer has appeared as Detective John Munch not only on “Law&Order,” and “SVU,” but also on “Homicide: Life of the Street,“ ”Arrested Development,” and “30 Rock.” Although Belzer retired from the show in 2013, he made a guest appearance in 2016. Since playing the cynical, but intelligent Detective, Mucnch has mainly stayed away from Hollywood. In 2015, like his co-star Ice-T, he appeared on an episode on “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
