WWE Stars: Then and Now

The World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., often referred to as just WWE, is the most prominent professional wrestling company in the industry. Some WWE stars have even crossed over from just famous wrestlers in the field to prominent celebrities, many appearing in successful films and even their own reality shows. Read on to check out where your favorite and most prominent WWE stars are up to these days.

#1. Kevin Nash - Then

Kevin Nash found success as a wrestler going under the moniker Diesel in the WWE in the early 1990’s. He then left for the WCW and started the wildly popular New World Order (nWo) with fellow wrestler Scott Hall. He later went on to wrestle as a part of the World Wrestling Foundation (WWF) and then Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He spent seven years there before moving on to the Independent circuit. However, he only stayed at the Independent circuit for a year before making his return to the WWE for part time appearances.

#2. Kevin Nash - Now

In addition to wrestling, Kevin Nash also began to dabble in acting on both the big and small screens. His first appearance in a film was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, in which he starred as a genetically mutated version of Shredder, aptly renamed to Super Shredder. He most recently appeared in the sequel film Magic Mike XXL as a male exotic dancer. Nash has also made several appearances in television shows such as Nikki, The Love Boat: The Next Wave, and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.

#3. Triple H - Then

Paul Michael Levesque, best know as Triple H, which was short for Hunter Hearst Helmsley, began his wrestling career in the International Wrestling Foundation, when he was known as Terra Ryzing. Two years later, in 1994, he moved on to the World Championship Wresting (WCW) and wrestled under the name Jean-Paul Levesque, which was the name of a real French Canadian aristocrat. A year later, he began wrestling for the WWE and eventually went by Triple H, the name he would be most commonly associated with.

#4. Triple H - Now

Triple H went on to win a WWF Championship in 1999. In that same year, he and Stephanie McMahon began to engage in a storyline marriage. At that point, Triple H was considered to be one of the best wrestlers in North America. In 2003, he and McMahon got married in real life as well. Triple H would go on to win 25 world championships total throughout his career, nine of which were as the WWF/E Champion and also five World Heavyweight Champion titles.

#5. Booker T - Then

Booker T, whose real name is Booker T. Huffman Jr., has wrestled for the WWF/E, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Throughout the course of his wrestling career, Booker T has amassed 35 titles total. He is also the most decorated wrestler in the history of the WCW, winning 21 titles and six WCW World Television Championships. Booker T became the first African American wrestler to win this title. He is a six time world champion wrestler as well.
