#66. Alisa Freyndlikh

Born in Russia to the well-known Russian actor Bruno Freindlich, Alisa Freyndlikh knew she wanted to act from an early age. She took a wide range of drama and music classes in her childhood, and went on to graduate from the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema in 1957. At present, Alisa has been performing onstage for almost 50 years! She cared more about acting in the theater than she did about acting in films, but still appeared in a number of notable movies like the comedy Office Romance, the long-banned epic Agony, and the sci-fi movie Stalker. On Alisa’s 70th birthday, Russian president Vladimir Putin came to her home to award her the honor of state decoration of the Russian Federation. The actress is now in her 80s, and she resides in St. Petersburg, Russia.

#67. Teri Garr

Teri Garr was practically born into show business. Her father was a Broadway actor, and her mother was a Rockette and a model! Teri was an avid dancer when she was younger, and one of her many claims to fame is having danced in 9 Elvis Presley movies. However, her big break came when she was cast in the 1974 Mel Brooks comedy Young Frankenstein. Her performance was extremely well-received, and she went on to appear in a number of other successful films like Young Frankenstein, Oh, God!, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Mr. Mom. Teri also received an Academy Award nomination for her role in the 1982 film Tootsie. In 2002, she announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and she retired from acting in 2007.

#68. Irene Papas

Born in 1926, Greek actress Irene Papas has starred in more than seventy films during her 55 year long career. She was discovered by Broadway director Elia Kazan at a young age, and it didn’t take long for her to achieve widespread fame in Greece. She jumped onto the international stage in 1961 with an appearance in The Guns of Navarone, and she went on to appear in a number of critically acclaimed Hollywood films like Zorba the Greek and Z. Irene has also dabbled in a singing career, releasing albums in 1969, 1979, and 1986. She has been retired from acting since 2003, and she owns houses in Greece, Spain and Italy! She stays active by sitting on the board of directors of the Anna-Marie Foundation.

#69. Kim Basinger

Born in 1953, Kim Basinger built herself a successful modeling career in the early to mid 1970s before deciding to transition into acting. She broke into the industry by making occasional appearances in TV shows like Charlie’s Angels, but she had her first taste of real fame when she starred as the Bond girl Domino Petachi in 1983’s Never Say Never Again. Other highlights of her career include appearing in Tim Burton’s 1989 film Batman and winning both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for her role in 1997’s L.A. Confidential. Kim has experienced a few financial difficulties over the years, but she hasn’t given up acting. She had a starring role in the 2016 comedy film The Nice Guys, and she’s set to appear in Fifty Shades Darker in 2017.

#70. Faye Dunaway

Born in 1941, Faye Dunaway has won many awards for her roles in film and television over the years. She currently has an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, a BAFTA, and an Emmy. She also was the first recipient of the Leopard Club Award, and was even made an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by the government of France in 2011. Faye is perhaps best known for her role in the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde, but her other notable works include the 1968 film The Thomas Crown AffairThree Days of the Condor in 1975.. Now 75 years old, Faye is mostly retired, but she does still make the occasional appearance on screen! Most recently, she played the role of Valerie Harris in the drama series Hand of God.
