He split from his band, Van Halen in 1985 citing a disagreement with fellow members over the band’s future and music.
In 2006, Roth made a comeback along with the group and performed the greatest tour known to Van Halen History. A different Kind of Truth was released in 2012 and the 61-year-old Roth still tours with the band.
