Fonda made her dramatic return to the cinemas after 15 years by starring in 2005’s Monster-in-Law. Since then she has had several minor roles in movies like The Butler, This is Where I Leave You, etc. She has also had a recurring role in the 2012 drama series The Newsroom. She currently stars in the TV series Grace and Frankie alongside her longtime friend Lily Tomlin.

After being discharged from the Marines in 1951, Academy Award Winner Hackman ended up studying at the Pasadena Playhouse Theatre where he befriended fellow actors Dustin Hoffman and Robert Duvall. His first role was in 1961’s Mad Dog Coll, however it was his role in 1967’s Bonnie and Clyde that earned him an Academy Award nomination. His life of acclaimed performances includes Popeye Doyle in The French Connection and Lex Luther in Superman.
After having earned two Academy Awards, Hackman has since retired from acting gigs and focused more on a thriving career as a novelist. He has co-written four books and written two more by himself, the latest being a book titled Pursuit in 2013 which wasn’t received that well by critics.
