Born in Cambridge, England, Newton-John’s famous role as Sandy Dee in Grease is what made Olivia a star and caused her to rise fast and furious! Before she got her big break on the silver screen, she was famous for her way with music. She released her first solo album, If Not For You in 1971, which earned her the title of Best British Female Vocalist for two years in a row by Record Mirror magazine. In 1974, Newton-John had the honor of representing the U.K in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song Long Live Love.
Today Olivia is busy as ever, and still tours in Australia and the U.S performing songs for the first time. She also scored a residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas which she began in April of 2014. In November 2012, she teamed up with John Travolta to make an album for charity titled This Christmas.
