Simon continued releasing albums but they were not as popular as her earlier work. In 2015, she published Boys in the Trees: A Memoir. Interestingly, Simon is currently working with her son, Ben Taylor, on some remixes to her older songs.
Diana Ross started out as the lead singer of The Supremes. She rose to fame quickly and became one of the most successful singers. Ross’s success made it possible for other African American artists to maintain mainstream success. Ross also went into acting and had notable roles in Lady Sings the Blues, Mahogany, and The Wiz.
Diana Ross was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. She earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. In 2002, Ross returned to touring in 2002 and has continued to tour since. She is currently 72 years old.
A woman of many talents, Susan was a contender in beauty pageants as well as a singer for product jingles. You could have also caught her on television commercials for Serta’s Perfect Sleeper mattress. Later in the 1970s, Anton appeared quite a few times of Merv Griffin’s TV shows and was even given a show of her own with country singer Mel Tillis. Anton showcased her musical talents in the early 80’s after she released the single “Killin’ Time”, which made it on the country charts.
Although a long time has passed, Susan shows no signs of slowing down. She hosted the “Great Radio City Hall Spectacular” in Las Vegas for 5000 shows and had roles on several television series. In the early 90’s, she was on Baywatch and even Law and Order. Up until today, Anton continues to make a name for herself, especially with her most recent role in the movie Sharkanado: The 4th Awakens. When she’s not acting, she’s enjoying married life to her second husband in Las Vegas, Nevada.
