Glenn Quinn may best be remember for his 2 biggest TV roles: Mark Healy on Roseanne and Allen Doyle on Angel. Quinn was delighted when director’s on Angel allowed him to perform with his native Irish accent, as he had been faking an American one for his other roles. His body was found on a friend’s couch when he was visiting Hollywood. Autopsy reports show he died of an accidental drug overdose.
Jonathan Brandis played various roles, mainly on TV, before landing his breakout role of Bastian, in the 1990 film The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter. Soon after he landed a lead role in the TV adaptation of Stephen King’s It. Jonathan soon began directing short films and screen writing for shows, including one he starred in, SeaQuest 2032. Sadly, Brandis’ career never got to truly flourish, as he committed suicide in 2003, at the age of 27.
Abe Vigoda was a long time actor known for multiple notable roles: Tessio in The Godfather, Detective Phil Fish in Barney Miller, and Grandpa in Look Who’s Talking. Ironically, Vigoda was the center of multiple death hoaxes throughout his life. However, he used to just laugh off the ridiculous misinformation. He died of natural causes, at the age of 94, from natural causes, in 2016.
Brad Renfro made his acting debut as Mark Sway in the critically acclaimed film The Client. Unfortunately, that was the climax of his career. A year after the film was released he won The Hollywood Reporter’s Young Star Award, and was nominated as one of People magazine’s “Top 30 Under 30.” Unfortunately, being a child star affected him and led to drug addiction and multiple arrests. He, sadly, died of a drug overdose in 2008, at the age of 25.
