Anthony Michael Hall appeared on the screen for the first time in 1980’s The Gold Bug, before that he had regularly appeared in ads as child artist. He was part of numerous teen oriented movies during the 1980s era, most famously The Breakfast Club, that established his position as a dependable actor during that era.
